Friday 18th January sees our annual members evening being held at Sawdon Village Hall.  With the recent snow in the Scarborough and Ryedale area, which has already resulted in the rearrangement of the Committee meeting being held 15th January, we will monitor the forecast over the coming days and if required, we will make a decision on the meeting closer to the time.

Ideally, the evening will be the chance for members to get together and do a few hours observing if the weather is kind.  If however, the clouds are around, members can have the chance to chat among themselves and if anyone has any problems or questions about their setups, please feel free to bring them along.  Refreshments and possibly cakes from Mell will be available on the night.

Please note this is not a public observing night, it is a society member event.  Our next public night is 1st February.  However, new members are welcome to attend the meeting and pay their membership fee prior to or on the evening.  If you are wishing to join the society, and attend this society member only event, please contact the secretary in advance.  You can do this via the contact us page.
