As previously stated on 1st December:

The RSPB at Bempton, East Yorkshire, have invited the society and the public to take advantage of the dark moonless sky in their nature reserve, located near Flamborough Head, for an evening of stargazing and informative talks.

The night promises to be exciting and enjoyable, with our knowledgeable amateur  astronomers on hand to show you the highlights of the winter sky through some fantastic high quality equipment. The event will take place on Saturday 12th January, 7.30pm-10pm.

The event is free of charge as all Stargazing LIVE events run through the BBC are free but donations are welcome on the night that will be shared between the RSPB and SARAS.  Refreshments will be available in the RSPB shop to keep attendees warm and the shop will be available for virtual tours / presentations should the weather be poor.  Materials such as sky charts and moon maps will be available for attendees on the evening.

Booking for the event is essential.  To book, please phone the RSPB on 01262 851179.
